Hello, I’m Norie. I teach both Japanese and English, offering lessons tailored to each learner’s goals, pace, and interests.


I am certified by passing the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test, which ensures that my Japanese lessons are structured, accurate, and grounded in professional teaching methodology.

My background includes professional translation (English–Japanese), international business, university academic support, and corporate planning. Having worked in both Australia and Japan, I’m comfortable explaining cultural nuances, communication styles, and subtle differences in expression that often matter in real conversations.

Lesson Style

  • Flexible and fully customized to your learning goals

  • Student-provided materials are welcome (PDFs, images, URLs, homework, business documents, etc.)

  • I provide additional explanations or supplementary materials when needed
