My name is Kosuke and I am an English teacher. My lessons are centered around "instant English conversation lessons" where you can quickly create English sentences and enjoy English conversation, just like instant noodles. I grew up in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, and after going on to university in Nagano Prefecture, I returned to Aichi Prefecture and engaged in security work at an international airport. While guiding customers in English at the international airport, which is the gateway to overseas, I realized the joy of having conversations in foreign languages, and I myself learned the language through relationships with people. I strongly wanted to broaden my cultural horizons, so after leaving the company, I went to Australia for a working holiday for about a year.
The first few months in Australia were a series of struggles. I was attending a language school, but as children from Asia and South America in the same class continued to speak English like machine guns, I could only take the time to squeeze out babytalk-like English... (Despite having a better score on the paper test than those students did...Argh!!)
But one day I realized that their English consisted of very simple, middle school level English words and grammar. They used simple words, and there were some grammatical mistakes. But they spoke English with confidence. At that time, I realized that "Yes! Was this what I was missing ?!" From that day on, I was okay with making mistakes. You don't have to use difficult expressions. I practiced to put out as many English sentences as possible by mouth without thinking too much in my head. As a result, I was able to express what I wanted to say in simple English.
The first thing I would like you to do in order to be able to speak English is to "speak English sentences one after another in a limited amount of time." By doing so, you will be able to acquire an "English conversation thinking circuit" such as how to combine English words and how to use grammar correctly. My lesson focuses strongly on this.
