Bienvenido a mi casa! 

I am Saraguevara Itagaki, a native Spanish teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience at universities in Tokyo, as well as experience working as a correspondent for media outlets in Japan. My background in journalism, academia, and international life experience allows me to understand the cultural differences that influence language use and to offer a high-quality learning experience with an analytical and culturally informed approach.

I have had the privilege of living and studying the business and government environments in Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Spain, Peru, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Colombia. This has given me a broad, global, and socially rich perspective on the Spanish language, which I adapt to the region and needs of each student.
