Hello~ I’m mayumi! Nice to meet you!

I majored in Japanese pedagogy during college.

When I was in high school, I did a homestay in Australia, which is what inspired me to become a Japanese teacher.

It was really nice to see so many locals studying Japanese!

I think that both Japanese language and culture are truly wonderful.

I currently volunteer as a Japanese helper for people who came to Japan from abroad.

I would love to help lots of people study and talk about Japan!

Great lesson with Hana Sensei. We covered reading and comprehension for the JLPT. She provided many examples for words and sentences I was not understanding and she provided me with many references to use as I study to prepare for the JLPT exam this December. Thank you very much Hana Sensei.

I had a great first time lesson with Mayumi Sensei. She is very sweet and patient. We read an article from NHK news and went over some vocabulary I was not familiar with and how to read and pronounce the words properly. Thank you so much Mayumi Sensei. I am hoping to book another lesson soon :o)
