Hello, I’m NancySarah, and I’m happy to meet you.
Let me begin by telling you a little about myself. I’ve spent more than 14 years working in broadcasting and media, including presenting, interviewing, editing and voice-over, and I have also worked as a mentor and coach.
I know that for an adult learning or perfecting a second language, it’s about much more than knowing the right grammar or having a large vocabulary. Sometimes you know exactly what you want to say, but you can’t find the words quickly enough. Sometimes you understand everything perfectly but hesitate when it’s your turn to speak. And sometimes the language itself isn’t the problem at all. It’s confidence, knowing how to express an idea clearly, making a good impression, or finding your voice in a professional situation.
This is the kind of communication I love working on because communication has been both my profession and something I have spent years helping other people develop.
My lessons are designed for adults and are always tailored to the person in front of me. Some students simply want a relaxed place to practise speaking English and have interesting conversations. Others may need English for work, international communication, presentations or networking. You may be preparing for an interview and want to feel more confident about both your answers and how you present yourself. Or perhaps you want to become more confident and articulate in the way you express yourself and communicate with others.
We can work on vocabulary, fluency and natural conversation, but we can also look at the things that make communication effective: expressing your thoughts clearly, choosing the right words for a situation, speaking with confidence, body language, first impressions and professional presence.
I believe learning works best when you feel comfortable enough to experiment, make mistakes and ask questions. My sessions are relaxed and supportive, but also practical.
Outside of work, I’m curious about almost everything: books, culture, travel, films, people and the many small things that make life interesting. So our conversations don’t have to feel like a traditional English lesson.
Whether you want to speak English more naturally, communicate more effectively at work, prepare for an important interview, develop your professional presence or simply become more confident expressing yourself, I’d be very happy to work with you.
I look forward to meeting you.
