Nice to meet you! I perform as a drummer mainly in Ishikawa Prefecture. As an instructor, I teach beginner to intermediate level drummers. I teach a wide range of the basics of performing drums. I will carefully instruct you the basics from how to hold the sticks, form, and how to beat the drums. Let’s enjoy performing the drums together♪
I started playing drums in high school back in my hometown. In college, I was a member of the school band club, and as an alumnus, I mentored juniors, acquaintances, and students currently enrolled in the school. In addition to my own band activities, I have been a supporting drummer for a 50-member gospel circle for over 10 years. I have performed on numerous stages, from live houses, collaborations with professionals, to solo performances with hundreds of audiences. While participating in Kanazawa Jazz Street and receiving offers to play at local events, I continue to work as a drummer in a wide range of activities, including live performances, sessions, and training younger drummers.
● Recent Performances
Aiming to always improve my skills, I participated in the 22nd “Swing Vibes” Drum Contest in 2023.
I have also performed with my own band “roughtone” and “TRINITY” for two consecutive days at “KANAZAWA JAZZ STREET 2023,” which celebrated its 15th anniversary.
Participated in Hokuriku Gospel Choir Festival 2023 “SING GOSPEL IN UNITY” at Akabane Hall of Hokkoku Shimbun. I was in charge of playing the drums in the largest mass choir in the Hokuriku region, with a total of over 100 members.
