Hi, my name is Palesa. I am a TEFL Certified English teacher from Lesotho (Southern Africa), with a background in Psychology and Coaching. I have been teaching English for almost four years and have over 3500 hours of lessons, with great feedback and reviews from students. Business English, Interview preparation and IELTS exam preparation for professionals have been a strong area in my teaching experience.
Before teaching English I worked in various sectors, including academics as a lecturer, in the NGO sector as a training facilitator as well as counsellor, and also in government, managing an Employee Assistance program.
My lessons are fun and interactive because I believe that is the best way to learn, while still focused on reaching student goals. My lessons are tailored to the needs and goals of the student, and can easily be customized to suit their needs. I teach teens and adults, academics and professionals, as well as people preparing to relocate to an English speaking country.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and writing, gardening and cooking. I also enjoy music and spending time with family and friends.
We will use your personal goals and interests to create our lessons, and give you practice in public speaking or presentation skills so that you are comfortable and confident expressing yourself in any business or social setting.
