Craig Moore 讲师的个人介绍
Aloha! Learn Ukulele With 50 Years of Teaching Experience !!!
Hi, I’m Craig. I’ve been teaching music since 1976 and have spent most of my life in Hawaii, the home of the ukulele. I’m a Berklee College of Music alumnus, international ukulele performer and teacher, and lifelong ukulele collector, buyer and seller. I previously owned and operated Aloha Music Studio in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where I taught students of all levels of students from different countries. Out of country families would come to Chiang Mai and come to my studio straight from the airport. Their kids would go home as musicians playing ukulele, singing, reading Tablature and enjoying music forever....and it was a 2nd Lanquage for them.
Today I focus on personalized online ukulele lessons for students worldwide.
My Goal
I want to help you become the player you want to be as quickly, easily and enjoyably as possible, while saving you time, money and frustration.
Whether you’re a complete day 1 beginner, already know some chords, want to sing and play, learn your favorite songs, or improve your technique, we’ll start where you are and work toward your goals.
Every student is different, so every lesson is designed for you.
What You Can Learn
• Ukulele from the beginning
• Chords, strumming and rhythm
• Fingerstyle and technique
• Playing and singing
• Your favorite songs
• Fretboard and musical understanding
• How to practice effectively
• How to overcome frustration and make faster progress
I know what it’s like to be a student. I took private guitar lessons for six years, continued my musical education through college, studied at Berklee, and began teaching in 1976.
After 50 years of teaching, I’ve learned that lessons alone don’t make musicians better—effective practice does. I’ll show you what to practice, how to practice it, and what to work on next. 15 minutes of focused practice is much better than an hour of struggling.
My experience includes teaching privately and in groups, performing internationally, running Aloha Music Studio, and working with ukuleles as a collector, buyer, seller and repairman.
Ready to Start Playing?
These lessons are for complete beginners, returning players, and experienced ukulele players who want to improve, learn specific songs, play and sing, or become more confident.
In each personalized online lesson, you can expect friendly guidance, clear explanations, practical exercises, and a plan suited to your goals and available practice time. Bring your ukulele, your questions, or a song you would like to learn—we will start exactly where you are.
Book a lesson and let’s take the next step together. I look forward to helping you enjoy making music.
Aloha,
Craig
