Greetings!
My name is Erich but most people I know are calling me Erik. I was born in a small town near Frankfurt a.M. in Germany to a German American couple. After my studies, I volunteered for the German Peace Corps or German Volunteer Service to work in an Indian Orphanage in Hyderabad. There I set up a training center teaching Indian orphans to become a skilled technician and work later in the local industries.


That was the beginning of my Asian journey which brought me to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Hongkong, China, Japan, Thailand, Korea to work and reside. My working experience allowed me to plan, build and manage six industrial training institutions which have a very good reputation, I managed several technology companies in manufacturing and in international trading.

I topped up further studies and my last educational achievement was a Ph.D. in Industrial Education. For over 20 years I managed my own company and in my free time, I helped my lovely wife to run four international restaurants. I love traveling, dining (on Hawker stalls as well superior class restaurants). I enjoyed in earlier years more than now the entertainment world, culture, and nightlife too. 

I am a passionate teacher as long there is fun and purpose in the lesson. I like to enjoy a good joke, people with humor; enjoying a good laughter. I also love my two kids, daughter and son and of course my soulmate and lovely wife Lilet.

I can teach English and German, well-versed especially in Business language and I am a qualified teacher and lecturer too. I love to assist in international or local Business matters, helping with transactions, legal or private matters as well. I worked also for a large Japanese company and learned many good cultures from my Japanese colleagues. Now I am semi-retired and would love to teach English or German conversations and business language. I hope all my lessons will be enjoyable and fruitful.
