Rowan 讲师的个人介绍
こんにちは! My name is Rowan and I am an English teacher living in Tokyo Prefecture in Japan. I moved here in Feburary after working for 5 years as a self-employed film-maker. Last year I took became a TEFL qualified teacher in preparation of my new job (including a module on telephone teaching). As a teacher I hope to make myself adaptable to your personal learning style. I personally prefer to teach with full English immersion however I am willing to change to suit you.
I was born a town just outside of London. I lived there for most of my life but I did move to Derby for University so I could get my degree in Music and Film. Outside of teaching my hobbies include playing music (especially guitar), photograpghy and travel. I also enjoy studying languages and can have basic conversations in Japanese and French.
Previously I have taught people how to play guitar. Now I teach English in 5 elementary schools as an ALT (as well as substituting in several others). I am looking forward to helping people learn English here too. So if you want to learn English from someone who knows about British culture then please feel free to contact me! 頑張りましょう！
