Hello! I'm Jahnny, a resourceful and passionate licensed teacher of English/ESL/Literature. I spend time working to bring English/ESL learners to proficiency in the four language skills of speaking, writing, listening and reading. I possess BA.ED and MA degrees in English, a GA Level 3 (300-Hour, Combined -Course) TEFL Certification as well as a Cambridge IGCSE certification. I teach students the use of English to achieve various life skills. In my over ten years of teaching English, learners have been hugely rewarded in confidently and effectively expressing themselves in English.

My lessons are fun-filled, and learners get the opportunity to participate actively with very little interruption. Learners receive useful corrections for their mistakes in grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, reading, speaking, spelling and pronunciation. Many of my learners have excelled at their routine elementary, middle/high school examinations as well as at major international examinations such as TOEFL, Cambridge IGCSE, GCSE, SAT and IELTS. 

 

My creative lessons have immensely assisted adult learners who engage in English for special purposes such as conversational English, business English, professional report writing, content writing as well as book proof-reading and editing.

I also design personalized lessons for my students based on their study needs, levels and pace. More mature students work with me to determine exactly what their learning challenges and needs are, giving me the best opportunity to work out the most suitable learning topics and strategies to enable them achieve accelerated success.

I'm looking forward to working with many young and adult learners on Cafetalk.
