Hello Everyone,
My name is Sayoko. I am an experienced Certified Mat Pilates instructor working freelance in the New York City area. I provide lessons for students of all levels, from beginners who have never done Pilates, to advanced students who love to challenge themselves. I focus on each individual's goal, whether it's relieving pain and stiffness, getting nicely toned muscle, or losing weight. Many of my clients have told me that they achieved their goals and changed their bodies in positive ways after taking my lessons...Hearing this always makes me happy. My style of approaching clients is understanding each one's body and physical abilities, and then using the most natural and organic ways to stretch, tone, and achieve correct and healthy posture.
I am also a Certified Simonson Technique instructor. Simonson Technique is a way to prepare your body to move through alignment, deep stretching, proper muscle development and a natural range of motion through the joints.
I provide Mat Pilates, Simonson Technique lessons, or can combine the two into a single lesson.
