Hello! My name is Carolina, and I’m an English and Spanish teacher in Japan. I hold a degree in social communication with a major in journalism, and I have a deep interest in storytelling and cultural exchange. During my studies, I authored a book exploring the lives of Japanese immigrants in Colombia, which was a meaningful way to connect two cultures I admire.
I also host a podcast, Portraits of Life in Japan, where I share personal experiences and insights about living abroad. Teaching in Japan has been incredibly rewarding, as it combines my love for learning about new cultures with the joy of helping others grow.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and working out. My favorite author is Natsume Soseki, whose works continue to inspire me. I’m excited to support and help my students build confidence as they navigate a second language!
¡Hola!
¡Vamos a estudiar español juntos!
