Hello! My name is Eric. I am a native English speaker from Toronto, Canada, and I am currently living and teaching English here in Japan.
During my time in Toronto, I personally hosted Japanese Working Holiday students in my home, tutoring them in my free time and helping them navigate life abroad. Through that experience, I learned exactly where Japanese learners usually struggle with English and how to help them overcome those challenges.
My lessons are relaxed, conversation-focused, and tailored to your specific skill level. We will focus on improving your pronunciation, allowing you to speak naturally and with confidence. I use a supportive, structured approach that gives you plenty of time to speak, make mistakes, and learn in a completely comfortable environment. I am always happy to customize our time together to match your personal goals.
Some of my hobbies include; video games, anime, and movies, but I also love staying active and exploring nature. You can usually find me cycling, hiking, or inline skating. Oh, and if I happen to run into a local bakery during my travels, I always stop to enjoy a delicious pastry :) (can eating pastries be a hobby?)
