Kanna.O 讲师的个人介绍
I’m Kanna, and I teach Japanese and English online.
I’m currently living in Australia on a working holiday visa and teaching from here.
I’ve been teaching Japanese for about five years and English for about three years. So far, I’ve taught around 1,600 Japanese lessons and 400 English lessons online.
I’ve taught Japanese to students mainly from the United States, as well as from various countries in Asia and Europe. For English lessons, most of my students have been Japanese, but I’ve also taught students from Taiwan and China.
In my lessons, I really value creating a safe and comfortable space where students can speak freely.
Learning a language can feel stressful sometimes, and many people worry about making mistakes. That’s why I try to create relaxed lessons that match each student’s pace and personality.
For Japanese lessons, I teach everything from daily conversation to JLPT preparation. For English, I mainly focus on conversation and grammar. I’d love to help you find a study style that works best for you.
I’m also learning Chinese from scratch right now, so I understand both the challenges and the fun of learning a new language.
When I was a university student, I studied law and international politics, and I spent about a year studying abroad in New York. There, I took classes in politics and wellness, and joined hip hop and performance teams, which became unforgettable experiences for me.
My hobbies are traveling, dancing, and anime! I’ve been dancing for over 10 years, and I feel that dance is another kind of language that can connect people even without words.
Through teaching many students, I’ve also had more opportunities to listen to people’s concerns about work, the future, and life abroad.
That’s why I also offer casual conversation and counseling-style sessions for people who just want someone to talk to, feel heard, or chat about life abroad and their future.
