Hi there! I'm Parker — nice to meet you!
I'm from Colorado in the United States, and I moved to Japan in May 2024. Right now, I work as an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) in Okayama.
In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, watching anime, and staying active with sports like volleyball, soccer, and badminton!
Before coming to Japan, I worked in many different fields — including computer engineering, networking, teaching university students about cybersecurity, and even coaching youth volleyball and soccer. I’ve always loved helping others grow, whether it’s in the classroom or on the court!
My lessons are relaxed, flexible, and focused on you. I want to make learning English fun, practical, and easy to use in real life. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, we’ll focus on natural conversation, pronunciation, and topics you actually care about.
You're welcome to keep your camera on or off — totally your choice! I usually keep mine on to help show pronunciation and mouth movements. I do ask that you keep your microphone on so we can practice speaking together!
