Hi there! I'm Mitu — nice to meet you!
My real name is Minh Tu, and it was given to me by my mom with a beautiful meaning: a bright star. I've loved that meaning so much that I started collecting star-themed things — so if you ever spot a star during our lesson, that's very much on purpose!
I'm a native Vietnamese speaker from Vietnam, and I've been living in Oita Prefecture, Japan for almost 4 years now. Japan has truly become my second home — I love the people, the food, the seasons, and the little surprises you find when you explore somewhere new. That sense of discovery is actually what I bring into every lesson too.
When I'm not teaching, I'm usually out with my camera chasing good light, trying new local food, or wandering somewhere I've never been before. Travel, nature and Vietnamese food (of course) make me feel alive ^^
My teaching style is warm, relaxed, and always encouraging. I believe anyone can learn Vietnamese — it just needs to feel fun and personal. In my lessons, we'll laugh a little, practice a lot, and you'll never feel judged for making mistakes. That's how real learning happens.
I can't wait to share my language and culture with you. Let's learn together — one xin chào at a time! ?
