Hello, I’m Teacher Lisa (Native English Speaker)! I’m an experienced ESL teacher with 15 years of experience helping adult learners improve their conversation, confidence, and real-world communication skills.

I spent most of my life in New York, and I currently live in the Philippines. My background allows me to bring natural, practical English into every lesson, with a focus on how English is truly used in everyday life.

Who I Teach

  • Adult learners only

  • Intermediate level (B1)

  • No children’s lessons

My Teaching Style & Method
My lessons focus on speaking about a wide variety of topics. This approach helps students:

  • Expand and actively use vocabulary

  • Get comfortable organizing thoughts in English

  • Express opinions more clearly

  • Build confidence and reduce lesson shyness

Speaking about different topics regularly is one of the most effective ways to become a more fluent and confident speaker.

I strongly believe that the secret to fluency is simple: speak more.

In my classes, you’ll find a safe, supportive, and structured environment where you can share your ideas freely and practice English without pressure.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy keeping up with world news, eating out and trying different restaurants, riding my bike, and spending time outdoors. My ideal vacation is somewhere warm, with a beach nearby
