I am a passionate, certified, professional and experienced teacher. I have taught all over the world, including USA (my home country), Japan (over 15 years), Russia, Brazil and online to people from many nations. The methods and pedagogy that I apply are proven and effective. I reference clinical lab school results and my own experience when teaching and designing curriculum for my learners.

I have mostly been teaching in secondary schools and universities but I have taught children and working adults as well. I speak Japanese very well and am now working on mastering Portuguese. I've also dabbled in Russian, Korean, Chinese and Spanish. I enjoy both learning and teaching language.

I enjoy most helping motivated students and professionals achieve their specific goals and needs whatever they may be. I enjoy seeing people succeed and being a part of anyone's success is a win for me.

Language is not my only passion, I am very eclictic. I study and teach Capoeira Angola and love to play Afro-Brazilian percussion. I play guitar and sing and love music. I love to dance and cook. I also love to read and dabble as a game designer and author, mostly in the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres. I really enjoy meeting new people from new places and discussing their hobbies and interests.

Last but not least, I am most proud of being a father of two grown children. Being a parent is probably the most rewarding and challenging thing I've ever done.
