Hello! I’m Bumwoo, your warm, friendly, and comfortable Korean tutor.

I’m a professional actor who works both in front of the camera and on stage, as well as an acting and swimming coach with years of experience teaching and coaching people. While I’m not a formally trained linguistics teacher, as an actor, I train every day to develop clear pronunciation, vivid intonation, and natural emotional expression—and I’m excited to share those skills with you.

Just as learning to swim begins with overcoming your fear of the water, speaking a foreign language begins with letting go of the fear of making mistakes. Drawing on my years of coaching experience, I’ll patiently support and encourage you until you feel comfortable with your new language.

And don’t worry about making mistakes—they’re completely okay!

1. Actor’s Diction & Vocal Training

  • Learn the vivid intonation and precise pronunciation used by native Korean speakers in real-life conversations, as well as in K-dramas and movies.

  • Learn natural Korean expressions using the K-content you’re interested in, including K-dramas, movies, and scripts.

2. 100% Korean Immersion

  • Even if you’re a beginner, don’t worry! I use gestures, facial expressions, and real-time AI translation tools to help you understand comfortably while keeping the lesson entirely in Korean.

  • You’ll gradually become familiar with Korean through natural, immersive communication.

3. 1:1 Personalized Feedback & Active Listening

  • Before your lesson, you’ll fill out a short questionnaire about your learning goals, interests, and Korean level, allowing me to tailor each lesson specifically to you.

  • During the lesson, I’ll naturally point out areas that could be improved and corrected.

  • After the lesson, I’ll organize detailed feedback and helpful notes for you to review.

Lesson Availability

  • Weekdays: 18:00–24:00 (KST)
    (Perfect for fitting a relaxed Korean lesson into your evening or after work!)

I’ll listen carefully and guide you with warmth and patience, so that your journey of learning Korean becomes a joyful experience rather than something to be afraid of.
