Hello, I'm Ayriel! :)
I'm from the Philippines and have lived in 3 different countries. Now, I'm enjoying the slow life in the valleys of South Wales in the United Kingdom.
My education, qualifications, and teaching experiences are:
I have a 120-hour Professional Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate.
I've been teaching English as a foreign language for 5 years in classroom and one-on-one settings of all levels and learning abilities.
I'm currently studying to get a CIPD Level 3 Foundation in People Practice certificate at Cardiff and Vale College. I also have a Bachelor of Arts major in Communication Arts degree from University of Santo Tomas.
When I'm not teaching...
I read romance-fantasy (romantasy) novels.
I watch anime on Netflix.
I listen to music and podcasts.
I try to walk at least 10,000 steps outside or on a walking pad.
My teaching style is relaxed and friendly.
I have a "neutral accent" that learners find easy to understand.
Lessons will be focused on your goals and adapted to your preferences.
Having lived in different countries, I have a deep understanding of cultural differences, nuances, behaviours, and customs.
I'm looking forward to meeting my new students and start our learning journey together. Hope to see you soon!
