Hello, I’m Mariko Okubo, a ceramic artist based in Japan.
I run a ceramics studio offering lessons in Nishinomiya, Hyogo, and have taught workshops in Taiwan and China. As an artist, I have participated in exhibitions, artist residencies, and international ceramics symposiums in Japan, Taiwan, China, South Korea, the United States, and Turkey.
I specialize in sculpting faces and expressions, small animals, and flowers. Drawing on my experiences abroad, I value each student’s desire to create and would love to help you bring your ideas to life in clay.
