Catherine Anne Kay 講師的自我介紹
Hello, my name is Catherine and I love teaching. I am creative, friendly, flexible and fun.
My lessons are creative, friendly, flexible and fun too.
I have over twenty three years of varied teaching experience. I have taught people from all kinds of backgrounds and of all ages including retired professionals, mothers of young children, adult education tutors and professors, children, people with disabilities, homeless people and residents of homes for the elderly.
I have a BSc degree, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and a level 5 TEFL certificate.
I now live on a farm with lots of olive, orange and fig trees in the beautiful Castelo Branco region of Portugal. I share my farm with my horse, cat, two rabbits, five sheep and lots of lovely wildlife.
As well as farming and looking after my animals I enjoy being creative, writing and drawing.
I strongly believe learning should be fun and that we learn better when we are having fun.
The courses I offer will help develop your confidence, imagination and creativity as well your grammar and vocabulary.
All my courses are flexible, fun and suitable for all ages and abilities ( except for the business conversation class which would not be of interest to children)
My courses are tailored to your individual interests and needs and I send out worksheets, puzzles or vocabulary lists to you by email before the lesson. I do therefore need advance notice if you wish to take one of my classes.
I am currently learning Portuguese myself so I know first hand the joys and challenges of learning a second language.
