Hello! My name is Mathene, and I am a passionate and experienced English teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, majoring in English Language and Literature, and I am also TEFL/TESOL certified.

I would describe myself as a friendly, patient, and supportive teacher who truly enjoys helping students grow in confidence. I understand that learning English can feel difficult or even scary at times, especially when it comes to speaking. That’s why I create a comfortable and relaxed learning environment where you can express yourself freely without fear of making mistakes.

My teaching style is interactive, practical, and student-centered. I focus on helping you use English in real-life situations, not just in theory. In my lessons, you will:

  • Speak as much as possible

  • Learn useful vocabulary and natural expressions

  • Improve your pronunciation and fluency

  • Build confidence step by step

I especially enjoy working with beginner to intermediate students (A1–B1), and I have a lot of experience helping learners who feel shy or unsure about speaking. Together, we will take small, simple steps that lead to real progress.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy topics like travel, culture, movies, and everyday life conversations, which I often bring into my lessons to make them more engaging and meaningful.

My goal is simple: to help you feel confident, comfortable, and natural when speaking English.
