Hello!

About Me
My name is Annabelle, I am 32 years old, from Berkshire in England. I am currently based in Vietnam, however I frequently like to travel to new places and explore our big, wide world.

I am something of a free spirit - as well as travel, I love to practice yoga and meditation. I am very interested in Buddhism and Taoism; I love to talk philosophy, psychology and spirituality.

On the flip side, I also love crosswords, Sudoku and reading - both fiction and non-fiction. I enjoy learning and trying new things; lately I've been exploring computer programming, cooking and running.


Qualifications and Experience
I am TEFL/TESOL certified and I have a true passion for teaching.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with Business Management, and have several years of experience tutoring in Mathematics.

I have worked in corporate environments for many years so I have an insight into using professional yet approachable language in these settings.

I have a keen eye for detail and can help with accuracy in grammar, punctuation and pronunciation, but I am also a great conversationalist and can help build up your confidence and fluency in both formal and informal settings.


Teaching Style
I am a patient and kind person who believes in centering the needs of each individual student, tailoring lessons to suit your requirements and preferences.  When it comes to teaching - especially online - I believe it is important to be flexible and approachable.

My lessons tend to be more laid-back and conversational, to help put you at ease so you can work on your English skills in a comfortable setting.  However, if structure and formal guidance are something you are after, let me know and together we can build a lesson plan that will work for you and your needs.

Learning online is an amazing tool that allows us flexibility and many other benefits, but it can also come with its challenges!  I understand this, so don't worry if your environment is not perfectly peaceful (children or pets causing chaos, for example!).  I will always warmly welcome a student that wants to learn.

I am so excited and grateful to be able to meet diverse and interesting people online, from all sorts of backgrounds and cultures.  I really look forward to getting to know you.
