Hi there! Thank you so much for visiting my profile✨

My life has been a series of unique adventures! In Japan, I spent 8 years working at JA (Japan Agricultural Cooperatives), handling bank counter services and auto insurance, where I built deep relationships of trust with the local community.

However, to chase my dream of living abroad, I took the leap and spent 6 months in Canada and 2.5 years in New Zealand! While there, I connected with people from all kinds of backgrounds as a Japanese language volunteer. Before I knew it, I had traveled to 60 countries around the world and explored 25 prefectures (more than half!) within Japan, becoming an expert on local charms?

Although I don't have professional teaching experience, that’s exactly why I can truly empathize with your nervousness. My biggest strength is creating a cozy atmosphere where we can chat just like old friends over tea.

Because I know firsthand how tough it is to travel in a country where you don’t speak the language, I can offer gentle, patient, and practical advice from a foreigner's perspective on what to look out for in Japan. You’re in safe hands!

 Hobbies

  • Cooking  (I love recreating delicious dishes I’ve tried around the world!)

  • Traveling  (I’m always planning my next trip!)

  • Hiking  (Walking in nature is my favorite way to refresh!)

Please don't worry at all about making mistakes! My classroom is a place where we make plenty of mistakes and improve while having lots of laughs.

I am so excited to talk about my favorite places in Japan and travel stories with someone from a different culture like you.
