안녕하세요.
만나서 반가워요!
저는 한국어 선생님 진입니다.
I am originally from a town neighboring Seoul, but I now live in Seoul.
I teach Korean at a language institute in a university in Seoul.
I majored in Japanese language at university, and worked for around 10 years as a Japanese language tutor and a coordinator for Japanese TV programs. I have experience in various fields including news broadcasting, documentaries, variety shows, the Pyeongchang Olympics, and idol events. Thanks to these experiences, I have acquired the skill to convey Korean culture, history, and more to Japanese people in an easy-to-understand manner. Utilizing these skills, I also appear as a reporter to share the current situation of South Korea.
Since I retired, I have been teaching Korean. I went on to a master’s program in Korean language education, and wrote a thesis on Korean and Japanese honorifics as they appear in novels. Honorifics are difficult, aren’t they? Korean and Japanese are very similar, but there can still be subtle differences, even occasionally quite different, don’t you think? As someone who has studied Japanese for many years, I would like to offer lessons that focus on these differences.
