Cindy Colijn 講師的自我介紹

Hello and welcome!

I’m a native Indonesian speaker based in the Netherlands. I recently graduated with a Master’s degree in International Development Studies, specialising in Migration & Development, and I’m happy to be back on Cafetalk after taking some time away to complete my studies.

I have lived, studied, and worked across Indonesia, Japan, Uganda, Kenya, and the Netherlands. Along the way, I’ve also worked part-time as an online and in-person tutor since 2014, teaching both languages and academic subjects.

On Cafetalk, I offer:

Indonesian Language - Practical Indonesian for beginners, everyday conversation, travel, pronunciation, and real-life communication.
Let’s Explore the Real World - Thoughtful but accessible conversations about migration, culture, identity, belonging, inequality, and global development.
Everyday English Conversation - Friendly speaking practice for learners who want to become more comfortable using English in everyday life.

Before the lesson, we tailor the topic to your needs and interests. During the lesson, we learn in an open, engaging space. Afterward, you receive a lesson summary and feedback attachment.

After the warm greeting and brief self-introduction, the tutor shared the beautiful PowerPoint of the structure of the earth. In the lesson, my son learnt some scientific terms such as, crust, mantle, core and tectonic plates. He enjoyed the lesson very much and he said he particularly liked the part of Volcanoes.

お若いですが人間的にとても成熟した先生で、こちらからの要望を汲み取り、いつも期待以上のレッスンを用意してくださいます。落ち着いている先生なので大人から子供までどの年齢の方にもおすすめですが、飽きやすい子供向けに上手にレッスンを展開できる先生はなかなかいないので、お子様向けにもとてもおすすめの先生です。大人の方でしたら、人生相談にも乗っていただけるような器の大きい先生です。
