Hello everyone!
日本語講師のYumi_senseiです。
I’m Yumi_sensei, a Japanese language tutor.
【自己紹介/ About Me】
私は讃岐うどんで有名な香川県で生まれ育ち、東京や横浜で約30年住んでいます。
I was born and raised in Kagawa Prefecture, which is famous for Sanuki Udon, and I’ve been living in Tokyo and Yokohama for about 30 years.
2019年に、日本の国家資格である全国通訳案内士（韓国語）を取得しました。
In 2019, I obtained Japan’s National Licensed Guide Interpreter qualification (Korean language).
その過程で、日本の文化や歴史、地理など幅広く学びましたので、みなさんと日本についてさまざまな話ができます。
Through that process, I studied many fields such as Japanese culture, history, and geography, so I can share a wide range of stories about Japan with you.
特に歴史が好きで、現在は通信教育で史学を専攻する社会人学生として勉強しています。
I especially love history, and I’m currently studying historical studies through distance learning as a working adult student.
趣味は、街歩き、ジョギング、登山、そして四国八十八ヶ所巡りなど。
My hobbies include walking around cities, jogging, mountain climbing, and visiting the 88 temples of Shikoku.
【授業について/ About My Lessons】
外国語を勉強するのは楽しいけれど、難しいですよね。
Learning a foreign language is fun, but sometimes challenging, isn’t it?
私も韓国語を勉強してきたので、その気持ちがよくわかります。
I understand that feeling well because I’ve studied Korean myself.
文法や単語を覚えても、実際に話す機会がないと、なかなか話せるようにはなりません。
Even if you memorize grammar and vocabulary, it’s hard to actually speak without real conversation practice.
私も以前はそうでした。
I used to feel the same way too.
話せるようになるには何度もネイティブと話すことが大切です。
To become a better speaker, it’s important to talk with native speakers many times.
日本には「習うより慣れろ」という言葉があります。
In Japan, we say “Narau yori narero”, which means “Practice makes perfect.”
間違えても大丈夫です！
Don’t worry about making mistakes!
文法を体系的に教えることはできませんが、ご自身で学んだことを、気楽に会話で試してみてください。
I don’t teach grammar systematically, but please feel free to try using what you’ve learned through natural conversation.
会話を楽しみながら、日本に関する知識が自然に身につく授業です。
My lessons allow you to naturally learn about Japan and its culture while enjoying conversation.
私は英語が話せませんが、日本語での説明が理解できる方なら、どの国の方でも大歓迎です。
I can’t speak English.
But anyone who can understand Japanese is very welcome, no matter where you’re from.
一緒にたくさん話しながら日本語に慣れていきましょう。

その先生との会話はとても楽しく「もっと話したい！次はこんなことを話したい！」という気持ちになり、それが大きなモチベーションにつながりました。
Talking with that teacher was so enjoyable that I often thought, “I want to talk more! Next time, I want to talk about this!” That feeling became a great source of motivation for me.
