Every time I need to give a speech, the first thing that comes to mind is booking a lesson with Greg! He always encourages me not to fear making mistakes, to speak with ease, and to express myself as much as possible. I feel relaxed and supported in every lesson with him. Thank you so much for your SOS help with my speaking!
Phillip is truly remarkable as a teacher. When I first took his lessons, I didn’t realize I would fall in love with reading and truly understand how to read. I’m so glad I embarked on this journey with him.
From short essays to mid-length novels, and now, we’ve just finished a Shakespeare play… it’s been a long journey for me, with many obstacles in reading and comprehension—each one of them has transformed me.
I’ve learned to read more deeply, both inside and outside the text (author background, historical context, etc.), to think in different ways from different perspectives, and to interpret characters' words and tones, among other things. It’s not just because I started reading, but also because Phillip kept discussing the topics and related things with me, guiding me on techniques and what to focus on, etc.
It’s always a pleasure to exchange thoughts on the works, and his humorous personality is definitely a plus. With Phillip, I can express everything I want to say and take notes without feeling judged.
It’s relaxing, fun, and inspiring… With Phillip’s reading lessons, you get it all!
Tsubaki's lessons have hugely helped me to improve my Japanese vocabulary. Each lesson is well structured to focus on a particular area. She is patient and understanding when I make mistakes and helps me to correct myself. Tsubaki is also extremely friendly and kind, and we often have a laugh. I highly recommend her lesson!

What made me interested in teaching online is how accessible it can be, as geographica
Hi there! I’m Thai, but after living in South Korea for 12 years, I feel like my heart is half-Korean. During that time, I got to dive deep into Korean culture—studying, working, and even living with a Korean family. I’ve taught Thai at a university in Korea and even wrote a Thai reading book to help learners master the language. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me
After graduating from La Sorbonne University in Applied Foreign Languages in Paris, I worked as an English teacher in French high schools and junior high schools for more than 7 years. In 2006, I decided to go to Japa
