Background
I was trained in classical piano for years but when I hit the teen years, I think playing the guitar has a 'cool' vibe to it.

Why?
Growing up, I listened to female singer-songwriters who can play the guitar (ie. Michelle Branch and Avril Lavigne). Not only do they play, they sing AND compose some of the songs. So I wanted to be like them a lot.

What about it?
For me, a guitar's melodic or rhythmic playing tell stories. I can 'hear' someone singing when the strings are plucked. I can feel someone dancing when it is strummed. 

What's next?
I did not have the opportunity to take formal guitar lessons, but thankfully I had talented friends and years later, YOUTUBE became my online tutor. My guitar skills need refining. It's a fun hobby to have. In fact, a few weekends ago, I had an online performance for private invites. Trying to get creative during this pandemic season!
