My Teaching Philosophy Part 1: Each Learner is a Unique Individual

Chane

In my teaching career and while using language exchange platforms, I see a similar situation repeatedly:

Many of my students, and other people I meet, have been learning English for years, but still can’t speak fluently.

They are frustrated that their speaking level doesn’t improve, no matter how much grammar and vocabulary they learn.

Can you relate to that?

My experience, and knowing that I can make a difference, inspired me to create a profile here on Cafetalk!

Not being fluent yet, even though you have studied for a long time, is not your fault! But there is a better way to learn English so that you can speak fluently.

If you’re interested in learning with me, read Part 1 of my teaching philosophy below: Each Learner is a Unique Individual.

My teaching philosophy is centred firstly on you as an individual

I believe that each person has a unique personality, background, and goals. I create an environment where you know that I’m interested in you and that I respect you as you are.

I also know that your English journey looks different from every other person’s journey. We will work together to customise your lessons and achieve your goals.

That’s it for Part 1! Please look foward to my next post My Teaching Philosophy Part 2: Follow the Natural Sequence.
