では、わたしの最近のお気に入りをひとつ紹介します。
Let me introduce one of my recent favorites.
ヴィヴァルディ作曲の「スターバト・マーテル」という曲です。
'Stabat Mater' by Vivardi
初めてこの曲を聴いたのは、映画「リプリー」でのことです。
ジュード・ロウの美形とイタリアの景色も相まって、なんて美しい曲なんだろうと。
The first time I heard this piece was in the film 'The talented Mr.Ripley'.
Jude Law's stunning appearance combined with the Italian scenery made me realise how beautiful this song is.
当時はインターネットもそれほど普及しておらず、スターバト・マーテルという題名しか分からなかったのですが、最近ふと思い出して調べてみたら「ああ、これだ！」と。
At that time, the internet was not as widespread, and only knew the title 'Stabat Mater'. But recently, I happened to remember it and look it up, and I thought, 'Ah, this is it!'
楽譜も見つかったので、ピアノで弾きながら堪能しています。
I also found the sheet music, so I am enjoying it while playing on the piano.
