The following question is correct.
「しんじゅくえき まで いきたいんですが、どういったらいいですか」
However, some students make the following mistakes.
「しんじゅくえき まで いきたいんですが、どういったほうが いいですか。」
「～ほうがいいですか」is used to compare two options and ask which one is better. It is used in the following situations.
「しんじゅくえきまで はやく いきたいんですが、どちらのバスに のったほうが いいですか。（I want to get to Shinjuku Station quickly. Which bus should I take?）」
