「二重価格」が話題に

オーバーツーリズムという言葉が浸透して久しいですね。
旅行先に日本を選んでくれるのはうれしいですが、地元民の生活に障害が出るほど多くの人が来るのはいかがなものか、と。

最近では姫路城の入場料を日本在住の人と外国人観光客で異なる設定にする「二重価格」が話題になりました。

ネット上の反応では賛成派の意見が多いようですが、問題もあります。

今回は、海外観光客は多くの入場料を払うべきなのか？について動画にしてみました。

今年３月と４月の日本を訪れた外国人旅行者数は２カ月連続で３００万人を超え、過去最多となった。

二重価格についてどう思う？

この動画を作る過程で、そもそもフェアってなんだ？と思いました。

「外国人と日本人で入場料が違うからフェアじゃない！」と単純には言えないのではないでしょうか。

日本人観光客より外国人観光客の方が対応に時間がかかる、という理由なら、サービスに応じて料金を上げるのは何ら問題がないように思います。

オーバーツーリズムにより建物の老朽化が早くなったり、地域の治安や清潔さ維持にお金がかかるなら、やはり原因となっている観光客に多くを払ってもらうのは理にかなっているのかな、と。

ただ、観光客へのぼったくりはどうかと思います。私たちも旅行先では一観光客なのですし。なんでもかんでも「観光地価格」になるのはツライです。
