バンコクには、マレーシアにはない刺激的なナイト・ライフがあります。やはりイスラム教の国ですからね。仕方がないとは思うんですが、夜の賑やかさ、華やかさが恋しくなります。（ちなみにペナンですと、お酒の価格は倍、どこでもカクテルの味はイマイチで、イースタン・オリエンタル・ホテルのバーぐらいでしかまともなカクテルに出会ったことがありません。メルボルンに比べると悲しい状態です。）

Bankok has the exciting night life Malaysia doesn't have. Malaysia is an islamic country, I know, so that can't be helpd, but I miss the lively gay night outs! (In Penang, the cost of alcohol is twice as much, and you get served so-so, mediocre cocktails. It is a bit sad, coming from Melbourne, it is such a difference! If you want really good cocktails, you must go to Eastern & Oriental Hotel's bar. )
