今週末はとても忙しい週末でした。土曜日の朝は、地元のインターナショナルスクールに通う日本人の小学生、中学生対象の補習校で小学校3年生に3時間国語を教え、午後からはホームパーティーの準備。夜は大人6名、子供4名、計10名でディナー・パーティー。クリスマス用に買っていた塩漬けにされてた豚肉の塊（ガモンハムと言います）があったのですが、結局旅行で食べれなかったので、お友達を呼んで食べようということになったのです。大成功でした！

It was a very busy exhausting weekend for me. It started wth teaching grade 3s three periods of Japanese at Saturday School (where the local Japanese students go), followed by a home party preparation in the afternoon! We decided to have a dinner party with our close friends (6 adults and 4 kids) over a "Christmas" ham - yes we bought a 2kg gammon ham from a butcher but didn't get to eat it as we were away over Christmas. It was a huge success!

写真左下 left bottom：ガモンハムを煮込んでいる所。コーラに玉ねぎ、にんじん、セロリなどを入れて2時間半煮込みました。We boiled the gammon ham in coke with some onions, carrots and celery for 2.5 hours. 

写真右下 right bottom：「クリスマスハム」完成！メープルシロップとマスタードのソースをかけて更にオーブンで1時間ほど焼きます。We grazed the ham with maple syrup and mustard and put it into the oven for another an hour. Yummy!
