But first, a word of advice: don't reveal sensitive information like your age until you're asked. Giving too many personal details too quickly can be humiliating for your Vietnamese buddy, and good communication is about implicit reciprocity. Instead, use statements that encourage your friend to talk about themselves, most people like doing so! It also demonstrates that you care about other people.
