In this interactive lesson designed for beginner students, we will start with the alphabet, focusing on the sounds and names of each letter.
Together, we will explore how these letters form the foundation of your reading and writing skills.
Topics Covered:
- The English alphabet: We will recognizing and naming each letter
- Letter sounds: I will help you understand the phonetic sounds associated with each letter.
Skills Covered:
- Listening and speaking: We will practice the sounds of letters and their names.
- Reading: We will begin to decode simple words using phonics in their association with the alphabet: ' A is for......"Apple".
- Writing: We will start the writing process of each letter too!
Methodologies:
I will use a variety of engaging teaching methods to make learning enjoyable and effective for you!
- Alphabet Review: We will go through the alphabet together, focusing on both the names and sounds of each letter. I’ll use visual aids like charts and flashcards to help you visualize them.
