Innate and Adaptive Immune systems

This lesson will introduce how the immune system works and the key cells that are involved. The innate immune system and the adaptive immune system will be covered and their role in fighting foreign pathogens.
I utilize a very student-centric teaching style in which I ask for active participation from students throughout the lesson. In this lesson I will utilize diagrams and have students write on their own materials. I will introduce different types of diseases and how they infect the host.
This will be a high intermediate lesson!
