CodeTalk: Talking with AIs in English

When we talk to each other we use 'natural language'. When we talk to computers we have traditionally used 'programming' to give instructions. But with today's AI chatbots we can now give them instructions using the everyday words of natural language. In 'CodeTalk' you will learn 'Natural Language Programming', helping you to unlock the power of AI to make your way in the digital world with confidence.
 
In this introductory course, you'll learn the fundamentals of writing effective 'prompts' - the instructions we gave to AI.
 
Over 5 lessons, you'll discover:
  1. How to break down a prompt into essential parts like objective, context, input/output format, and constraints.
  2. Techniques for writing clear, definite prompts. We'll look at grammar, semantics, style, organization, and more.
  3. Different prompt types like simple vs complex, single vs continuous.
  4. Shot prompting - how to get better results by giving examples. 
  5. Real-world use cases.
  6. How to fix your prompt when the output doesn't match expectations.
  7. Advanced prompting techniques like chain-of-thought and prompt embeddings.
Over the 5 lessons you will come to see how AI can be useful for you. You'll read clear explanations and examples, and practice writing prompts tailored to different goals.
