GUIDED GRATITUDE MEDITATION 
FOR ADULTS
Good for Beginners & Intermediate Levels

5 minute Introduction
The student and myself will present ourselves briefly.

Ask the student what their meditation experience is.
Find out about the student's emotional state of being and stress levels.

10 minute Emotions & State of Mind Vocabulary
Prompt student to tell me which emotions
they can name using images and facial expressions.
Write down new states of mind and emotions.
Describe simple vocabulary that will be used during the meditation.
Take notes of key vocabulary.


20 minute Guided Gratitude Meditation  
Guided meditation with 7 steps/ gestures to follow.
Let yourself be guided through a journey of introspoection.
Breathe deep and enjoy.

5 minute Questions and Feedback Time
How do you feel?
Did you enjoy the session
?

Do you have any questions? / recommendations?


Optional Homework
Write a summary for next lesson about how
you felt during and after the class.
