Lesson Objectives:

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:

  • Use business and networking vocabulary related to leadership, collaboration, and strategic planning in conversations.
  • Role-play a professional “power lunch” scenario with confidence and clarity.
  • Practice and apply discussion strategies (e.g. turn-taking, pitching an idea, asking insightful questions).
  • Summarise and reflect on key takeaways from a collaborative discussion or mock meeting.
  • Demonstrate awareness of tone and formality in professional lunch meetings.  
I'll refine your sentences, and we'll practice using the expressions in the dialogue. 
Constructive feedback will be shared during and after the lesson, followed by a take-home exercise (optional).
