How to achieve a high band score in the essay
課程介紹
This lesson aims to provide you with some insights into scoring a high band in the IELTS Writing Task 2. With increasing apprehensions about the scoring criteria of this task, this lesson will throw some light on some ways in which you can increase your chances of getting a high band score in the same.
Students registering for this session should:
- be familiar with the IELTS exam preparation modules
- be at least CEFR B1 in English
- be aware about the various question types of the Writing Task 2 in the IELTS though some information on these will be shared during the lesson
Lesson objectives:
- make the participants feel more confident about the Writing Task 2 in the IELTS
- discuss various approaches of developing a high band score essay
- discuss how to improvise an essay in reference to various question types
Materials used:
The teacher uses her own materials. Some websites may be shared during and post the lesson.
Requirements to attend the lesson:
- a pen and paper to make notes
- earphones for better audio
- a good internet connection for uninterrupted lesson
