课程介绍

🔵 Lesson Description

This is Unit 8 of our Level 0 online ESL curriculum, designed for young learners with no background or very limited knowledge of English.

In this unit, students will learn farm-related vocabulary, animal sounds, and simple question-and-answer patterns through fun and engaging activities.

📚 Topics Covered:

  • Vocabulary: On the Farm (barn, cow, pig, dog, horse, chicken, sheep)
  • Sentence Patterns:
    • “What does the cow say?”
    • “The cow says, ‘moo!’”
    • “What is in the barn?”
    • “A cow is in the barn!”
  • Letters: Ww, Xx, Yy, Zz (writing, phonics, and vocabulary)
  • Shapes Review:Rectangle, Heart, Star
    • “It is a ___.”
    • “They are ___.”
  • Colors: Black, White
  • Number: Thirteen (13)

🎯 Skills Developed:

  • Asking and answering simple questions
  • Recognizing animal names and sounds
  • Building simple sentences
  • Listening and speaking skills
  • Vocabulary recall and reinforcement

👩‍🏫 Teaching Method:

This unit uses repetition, storytelling, and visual learning to help students understand and remember new vocabulary and sentence patterns. Lessons are taught step by step using fun images, short stories, and interactive activities.

Students are encouraged to speak, repeat, and answer simple questions to build confidence. Mistakes are corrected gently to support learning and communication.
