A ‘What are these?’ and….

 

Introduce-vegetables and fruits at Osaka market

 

B.  Questions using the –s plural

1.      Can you eat one orange, or two oranges?

2.      Can you eat one apple, or two apples?

3.      Can you eat one lemon, or two lemons?


Presentation (10 minutes)

 

A:  I will say words and see if student can say.  (video with no sound)

Pear-pears

Strawberry-strawberries

Lemon-lemons

Apple-apples

Eggplant-eggplants

Mushroom-mushrooms

Cabbage-cabbages

Leek-leeks

Onion-onions

 

-I will give praise if student get them right

Practice:  10 minutes

 

Opinions:

A:  I like leeks.  I don’t like leeks

Student can see just images


B:  Student can have fun making open ended questions,
'Teacher Gabriel, do you like apples or eggplants?'



 

 

Closing (5 minutes)

In Japanese, can you add a s sound to make it ‘apples’?
