Italian cuisine is far more than just food—it’s an art form, a celebration of rich flavors, and one of the most beloved culinary traditions in the world!
This specialized lesson is tailored for chefs, pastry lovers, bakers, bartenders, or anyone who simply adores authentic Italian food and wants to explore the culture behind the kitchen.
From classic regional dishes to authentic Neapolitan traditions, we’ll dive deep into how to read real Italian recipes, master local culinary measurements, decode traditional techniques, and discover what truly makes a dish autentico.
What do I know about it?
Well, I learned how to cook thanks to my Neapolitan nonna when I was a toddler, and I never stopped!
Ideal for: Pre-intermediate to Advanced learners (B1–C2).
What we will work on: ★ Reading & Pronunciation: Master menu terminology, ingredient lists, and culinary texts like a native.
★ Recipe Comprehension & Conversational Practice: Learn how to interpret instructions, balance flavors, and talk about food with confidence.
★ Listening & Transcription: Train your ear with authentic cooking audio/video clips and dictations.
★ Cultural Insights & Authenticity: Learn the secrets, history, and unspoken rules of Italian and Neapolitan cooking.
★ Materials & Customization: I will provide all tailored materials, but if you have a favorite Italian cookbook, a specific Neapolitan recipe, or a dish you’ve been dying to recreate, bring it along! We can also design custom, interactive sessions—like live "conversations in the kitchen" while you cook!
