🎯 Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
Name at least 5 classroom objects (book, pencil, pen, rubber, bag).
Understand and follow simple classroom instructions (e.g., "Open your book", "Listen", "Sit down").
Ask and answer "What's this?" → "It's a [school object]."
📋 Materials:
Kid’s Box 2 Student’s Book and Activity Book
Flashcards or real objects (pen, pencil, bag, book, rubber)
Whiteboard and markers
Audio listening/video listening(youtube)
Worksheets (optional)
Stickers or stamps (for motivation)
⏰ Lesson Stages:
1. Warm-up (5 minutes)
Greet the class energetically ("Good morning, everyone!")
Quick Simon Says using classroom actions:
"Simon says sit down!" / "Stand up!" / "Open your book!"
2. Presentation (10 minutes)
Introduce Vocabulary: Show real objects or flashcards:
Pen, pencil, book, rubber, bag.
Pronounce slowly and have students repeat chorally and individually.
Write words on the board with a small drawing next to each.
3. Practice (10 minutes)
Audio Listening: Play the youtube video for the school objects vocabulary. Students point to pictures in their book as they hear the words.
What's This? Game:
Teacher hides an object behind the back, and shows it quickly.
Students guess: "What's this?" → "It's a rubber!"
Matching Activity:
Students match words to pictures in their Activity Book.
4. Production (10 minutes)
Work:
The student shows an object from their pencil case.
Teacher asks: "What's this?" → "It's a [pen]."
Drawing Challenge:
The student draws 3 school objects and writes their names.
5. Review and Cool-down (5 minutes)
Review all 5 vocabulary words quickly with flashcards.
Play a goodbye chant or sing a short song about school.
Give praise and award stickers!
