In this lesson, I will test your knowledge about some Marvel and DC superheroes. If you don’t know them, it will be a great opportunity to learn who they are in English! I can speak some Japanese, so this lesson is perfect for beginners, as I could explain and correct in Japanese if needed.
Grammar focus: Third person of the verb “To be”.
We will first learn or review how the verb “To be” is formed in English. There will be examples using sentences in the affirmative, negative, and interrogative form. I will help you using images and text for visual support.
Then, I will ask you who some of the superheroes from the Marvel and DC universe are, I will show you photos and you will guess! If you don’t know, that is alright, you can learn. I will correct your mistakes and encourage you to use the language.
If we have some time by the end, we can switch roles, and you can become the teacher by asking me who the superheroes are.
I will give you timely feedback always.
