BURNOUT
The largely preventable workplace “killer” of modern Japanese business.
Karoshi (overwork death) is a tragic outcome of workplace burnout that is neither identified in time not treated properly.
What is burnout? How to recognize & minimize it? Can it be prevented?
Most companies have implemented largely ineffective measures like shorter working days, workplace lights that go off at a specific time, employee’s computers that automatically shut down at a pre-determined hour, as well as Premier Friday.
While these measures may help somewhat, they do not address the root cause of the issue!
In this course you will find out:
· What is burnout?
· What are the symptoms of burnout?
· What are the most effective ways of handling the symptoms?

employer can do to have a major impact on preventing burnout from occurring. This will require a thorough examination of current management practices.
